Job summary

Access Community Health is seeking Kaiāwhina to support people in their own homes across our community. You will help with daily living tasks, provide safe and respectful care, and honour each person’s culture, values and routines.

Training is provided, and working hours are flexible with weekend shifts available. You will need a smartphone, valid NZ work rights and a driver’s license to support clients in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• No qualifications or prior experience required.
• Safe, respectful, person-centered support in homes.
• Own a smartphone and have right to work in New Zealand.
• Full or restricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support tāngata with daily living activities in people’s homes.
• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered assistance respecting culture and routines.
• Adapt to each person’s needs and preferences.
