Busy Bees Brooklyn in Wellington is seeking a part-time Registered Relief Teacher. You will draw on Te Whāriki to plan and guide each child’s learning journey, capturing high-quality assessments to celebrate progress and fostering a welcoming, equitable atmosphere.

You’ll collaborate with the team to build positive relationships while maintaining a safe, inviting classroom. Applicants must hold NZ registration and a recognised NZ ECE or Primary teaching qualification.

Qualifications

• New Zealand ECE or Primary teaching qualification with current NZ registration.
• Warm communication style and ability to build strong relationships.
• Proactive spirit and integrity to act fairly and ethically.
• Passion for the NZ national curriculum and sharing fresh, creative ideas.
• Confidence using digital tools to document learning and stay connected with families.
