Job summary

Educare Early Learning Centres in Christchurch invites expressions of interest from unregistered reliever teachers to join our whānau across Educare Wigram, Kaiapoi and Lincoln Village. This casual reliever role provides cover for permanent staff during sick leave, annual leave and other absences.

Relievers should have broad availability, be able to travel between centres, and work full days Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Willingness to complete Police Vetting and Safety Checks.
• Flexibility to travel within the Christchurch region.

Responsibilities

• Supporting high-quality, play-based learning aligned with Te Whāriki
• Building positive relationships with tamariki and whānau
• Assisting with daily routines, care moments, and learning experiences
• Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Working alongside and supporting teaching teams across centres
