Job summary

BestStart Glenfield is seeking a qualified and registered teacher for a fixed-term role in our Toddlers space, 40 hours per week, until 9 July 2027, to support high-quality early education.

You will bring a strong understanding of Te Whāriki, child-led learning, and ECE regulations, with a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and delivering outstanding outcomes for tamariki.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered teacher with current teacher registration.
• Strong understanding of Te Whāriki and child-led learning.

This is a fixed-term opportunity working 40 hours per week until 9th July 2027 in our Toddlers space.

About You:

You’ll be a qualified and registered teacher who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. You’ll bring:

• BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 ECE and current Teacher Registration


• A strong understanding of Te Whāriki, child-led learning, and assessment practices


• Sound knowledge of ECE regulations and a commitment to high-quality compliance


• A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your teaching practice


• Passion, energy, and a focus on delivering quality outcomes for tamariki
