Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora’s Radiology department in the Bay of Plenty is seeking a fixed-term Sonographer to join a busy team. The role involves excellent scanning and time management with referrals including inpatient/ED, obstetric, vascular and community.

You will be supported by Radiologists and other Sonographers. The successful applicant will hold NZ Registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist with a recognised sonography qualification and have post-graduate credentials.

Qualifications

• NZ Registration as Medical Imaging Technologist with sonography qualification is essential.
• General DMU/Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• Ideally skilled in vascular or musculoskeletal ultrasound.
• Proactive and efficient in a busy department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
