Tirau Primary School is seeking a committed Fixed Term Scale A Teacher for Term 1, 2027, starting 28 January 2027 and ending 15 December 2027 due to roll fluctuation. The role covers Years 1–8 across a broad curriculum, including English, Health and Physical Education, Mathematics, Science, Te reo Māori and the arts.

Primary and intermediate (Years 1-8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and reflective teacher to join our wonderful team of teachers. Ability to work both collaboratively and cooperatively with staff and whānau is paramount. You will need to have proven strength in literacy and numeracy, experience in a structured literacy approach, use of restorative practices and build strong relationships with students. The teaching year level will be negotiable with the successful applicant.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
