Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Children’s Ward in Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital, Hastings. This fixed-term, part-time role (64 hours per fortnight, 0.8 FTE) offers the chance to develop a paediatric nursing career while supporting children, young people and whānau daily.

You will work in a dynamic paediatric environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and family-centred care across acute and ongoing

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• IV certification or willingness to obtain this competency.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and nursing excellence.
