Lollipops Birkenhead, part of the Evolve Education Group, seeks a passionate Non-Certificated Kaiako to join the Over 2s team for 30 hours per week on a fixed-term maternity leave cover until late April 2027.

Job description

Nestled in a warm and welcoming environment designed with tamariki in mind, Lollipops Birkenhead is a place where nurturing relationships, individual care, and a strong sense of whānau come together. Guided by Te Whāriki, we create rich learning experiences that reflect children's interests, strengths, and emerging curiosities, while celebrating the many cultures within our centre community.

We are currently looking for a passionate Non-Certificated Kaiako to join our Over 2s team for 30 hours per week on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave until late April 2027.

Our toddler and preschool spaces provide a welcoming environment where tamariki can build confidence, develop independence, and learn through play and exploration. Our Kaiako follow children's interests and respond to their individual strengths, creating meaningful learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

With spacious indoor and outdoor learning environments, tamariki have plenty of opportunities to explore, play, and discover. Our large outdoor playground provides a wonderful space for active play and adventure, with plenty of shelter to support learning and exploration in all seasons.

Whanaungatanga sits at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with families and whānau, valuing their knowledge and recognising the important role they play in their child's learning journey. Together, we create an inclusive environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging, mana, and connection.
