Pace Engineering Ltd is an experienced, privately owned, mechanical engineering company. Our well-equipped purpose-built workshops based in Taranaki, the heart of New Zealand's energy province, offers total engineering services to a broad client base.

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice - Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Machining) Level 4, to join our busy and well-equipped machine shop.

This is a great opportunity to start a rewarding career in precision engineering with one of Taranaki's leading engineering companies.

About the Role

You'll be trained in all aspects of fitting and machining, including the use of manual and CNC machines, fitting and assembly, and general workshop practices. You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain a nationally recognised New Zealand Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Level 4) while earning.

  • A genuine interest in engineering, mechanical work or problem-solving
