Pay rate: $38.00 - $40.00

We’re looking for skilled tradespeople to step into a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team where variety is guaranteed, and no two days are ever the same.

Responsibilities
  • Working within the timber industry
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on production machinery
  • Diagnosing faults and working proactively to reduce downtime
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability of equipment
Qualifications
  • Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and heavy machinery (timber industry experience a bonus)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Health and safety conscious with a proactive approach to problem solving
