Job summary

Community Leisure Management at Franklin Pool & Leisure Centre in Franklin, NZ, is seeking a Fitness Centre Coordinator to lead daily operations and group fitness sessions at the Franklin Pool & Leisure Centre in Pukekohe. This role requires motivation, experience, and strong team leadership to drive program delivery.

You will oversee administration, safety procedures, staff coordination, and initiatives to retain members while enabling ongoing training and development in the health and fitness

An exciting leadership opportunity has opened at the Franklin Pool & Leisure Centre; we are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to become part of our awesome team!

As the Fitness Coordinator your roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Group fitness instructing

Ensuring effective and efficient day to day administration of the Fitness Centre

Making sure that all health and safety procedures are being followed

Coordinating & running of programmes

Help maintain and enhance membership retention

Organising and communicating with staff

Skills/Qualifications:

You must have a recognised fitness qualification

We run on a 7-day roster. You need to be prepared to work early mornings, evenings and weekends
