About the role

As a Fire Alarm Technician/Electrician at Fire Protection Compliance, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems in and around Queenstown Otago. This is a full-time role that will see you working on-site to ensure client properties are safe and compliant.

What you'll be doing

Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and in accordance with industry standards and regulations

Diagnose and repair any faults or issues with fire alarm systems

Install new fire alarm systems and associated equipment

Provide technical support and guidance to clients on the operation and maintenance of their fire alarm systems

Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork to record work undertaken

Stay up-to-date with changes in fire alarm technology and regulations

What we're looking for

Qualified Fire Alarm installer/Electrician with experience in the installation, testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems

Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and relevant safety standards and regulations

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Good communication skills to liaise with clients

Willingness to travel to client sites as required
