What You’ll Do
  • Drive Financial Integrity: You’ll be a guardian of our financial accuracy, taking the lead on everything from the general ledger and month-end close to preparing insightful and IFRS compliant financial statements.
  • Become a Trusted Advisor: Step up as the go-to expert for complex accounting issues. You'll provide sharp technical advice on new standards and play a pivotal role in our audit processes, liaising with external auditors and ensuring rock-solid compliance.
  • Champion Improvement & Innovation: You will identify and drive opportunities to streamline our financial processes, enhance internal controls, and leverage our systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, to their full potential.
  • Collaborate for Success: You’ll build powerful relationships across the business, partnering with various teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, all while fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years post qualified (CA, CPA or equivalent qualification).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A strong background in financial accounting and IFRS/NZ GAAP standards.
  • Proven competence and confidence liaising with stakeholders across the business.
  • Proven experience in a mid-to-large organisation, with a knack for managing competing priorities with resilience and adaptability.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a huge plus!) and Microsoft Excel.
  • An eagle eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proactive, collaborative spirit.
