About The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a dynamic, multi-sector organisation to find an experienced Finance Manager ready to take the lead in a strategic, high-impact role. This is your chance to join a growing business with operations across construction, real estate, education, media, and FMCG.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing financial operations, driving tax strategy, and managing investment funds—while contributing to long-term planning and risk management at a group level.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the finance team
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with financial and statutory requirements
  • Provide strategic tax planning and structuring advice
  • Support fund management, investor relations, and compliance
  • Develop financial systems and policies to enhance performance
  • Advise on capital allocation and investment structures
  • Identify and manage financial risks across the group

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA, or Master of Taxation preferred)
  • 3+ years’ experience in tax planning, fund management, and financial leadership
  • Strong understanding of NZ tax laws, fund structures, and fiduciary regulations
  • Experience with financial products such as limited partnerships or private funds
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
  • Must be a NZ citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid NZ work visa
