We’re looking for a commercially savvy Finance Analyst to join our Planning and Performance team (Financial Planning & Analysis). If you thrive on turning data into decisions and want to help shape the future of New Zealand’s leading media company, this is your opportunity.

The Opportunity

As a trusted advisor to NZME’s senior leadership, you’ll deliver strategic insights that drive performance across our digital, print and editorial teams. You’ll lead reporting and analysis, support planning and forecasting, and champion AI-led automation to streamline processes and unlock efficiencies.

About You

The successful candidate will have a finance or other similar qualification with several years of relevant experience in finance and commercial roles. The candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and a positive attitude, enjoying being part of a team driving strong performance. The successful applicant will have demonstrated work experience with financial systems and analytical tools e.g. Power BI, Planful (or similar reporting systems) and databases and be an early adaptor of AI automation and applications e.g. Microsoft CoPilot.
