The Role

As an Operational AP Support (Finance Administrator)based in Wellington, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our team. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receipting of Purchase Order's (PO) and managing the PO's issues register
  • Tracking expenditure, generating invoices, and maintaining billing documentation
  • Maintaining financial trackers and monitoring costs, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Managing month-end accruals and ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Supporting asset capitalisation and liaising with the Fixed Assets team
  • Preparing monthly budget summaries and analysing actual vs. forecasted expenditure

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative team player with initiative, flexibility, and sound judgment
