Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Grader Operator for road maintenance across the Bay of Plenty, based out of Tauranga. You will operate a grader, support final trim work, and contribute to civil projects with accuracy and pride.

You will read levels and plans, follow safety standards, and work closely with site supervisors to meet deadlines. The role offers $40–$45 per hour, a steady pipeline of work, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a grader in civil/road maintenance
• Strong final trim experience
• Ability to read levels and plans
• WTR endorsements (Class 2–4 licence advantageous)
• Solid understanding of site safety and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Operate grader on road maintenance and rehabilitation projects
• Final trim work to tight tolerances
• Shaping, batter work, and general maintenance grading
• Work with site supervisors and crews to meet deadlines
