The Role and You

This is a rewarding full time opportunity for an experienced field technician to make a difference in how our clients participate in their everyday life! Working out in the field, you will be repairing disability and rehabilitation equipment in our client’s homes or workplace.

Not only will you have advanced fault finding and troubleshooting skills, your experience and expertise in electronics programming will set you apart. You’ll be someone who thrives in a people focused role offering both teamwork and independent working. Supporting and sharing expertise, especially in the field of electronic programming, will be a passion.

Exposure to CRM and field-based technology is a must, including competence using the microsoft office suite. We are based in Airport Oaks however the majority of your day will be spent in the field throughout the Auckland region. You will also participate in the after hours repairs call-out roster.

As a client-centric technician you’ll be sensitive to our client’s needs and you’ll be a patient, clear communicator.

What you will bring

  • 3+ years relevant technical field-based experience
  • Solid Electronics programming experience a must with a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Current EAS certificate preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously, proactive ‘can do’ attitude, high attention to detail & problem solving approach
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Sensitivity, integrity and empathy to our client’s needs
  • Experience working with diverse cultural groups, in the disability sector is an advantage
  • A full, clean NZ driver's license is essential
