Overview

Field Services Officer - Auckland

We’re FIRST Security, one of New Zealand’s market leaders in security.

As an EMS (Electronic Monitoring Service) Field Officer at FIRST Security, you will be responsible for ensuring electronic monitoring equipment is correctly installed and working properly on people in the Community serving a non-custodial sentence. You will attend locations such as courts, prisons, and residential homes, as required, to conduct these installs or call outs. You will be our first point of contact for any equipment failure or alert activations and liaise with our field support team to ensure issues are attended to and fixed quickly.

Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electronic monitoring equipment in the community and relevant locations (courts, prisons, residential homes) as required.
  • Be the first point of contact for equipment failures and alert activations; liaise with the field support team to resolve issues promptly.
  • Roster to provide balance: 5 days on, 2 days off; 24/7 rotating hours; ensure coverage for all shifts.
  • Support other business sectors if required.
Qualifications
  • Can do attitude with excellent people and listening skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think on your feet quickly in challenging environments.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to handle stress and pressure.
  • Current full NZ Driver’s Licence.
  • Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Convictions check.
  • Current Certificate of Approval (COA) or ability to obtain one.
