Qualifications

Overview

We are seeking for

Field Service Technician (New Zealand)

These positions will work across all Wirtgen Group brands with the role requiring flexibility with the ability to work autonomously. A self-motivated and driven individual would be highly regarded.

Key Duties:

  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of Wirtgen Group equipment.
  • Preparation of new machine build requirements.
  • Commissioning/training of Wirtgen Group machinery.
  • Diagnose machine issues or customer complaints and assist in finding solutions.
  • Conduct machine inspections.
  • Provide a professional customer service and care attitude at all times.
  • Assist in the training of Apprentices and other staff as required.

To be considered you must have the following:

  • New Zealand recognised trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical);
  • Proven experience within a Service Technician/Light Vehicle Mechanic role for minimum 2 years.
  • Unencumbered Drivers License.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to communicate well with co-workers and customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Clear problem solver.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Willing to learn and take direction.

The ideal candidate will also need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and obtain a police clearance.
