Job summary

MEIKO Clean Solutions New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission and maintain MEIKO commercial dishwashers and washer-disinfectors in the Auckland region. You will diagnose faults, repair equipment and provide technical guidance to customers, reporting to the Service Manager.

The role requires 3+ years in servicing industrial equipment, a current driver’s licence, and the ability to work independently in the field. NZ safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years servicing commercial/industrial equipment.
• Trade qualification in electronics/electrotechnology desirable.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Knowledge of MEIKO equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission MEIKO systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults using service software and diagrams.
• Repair/maintain equipment per MEIKO specs.
• Program machine parameters and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers.
• Advise on servicing requirements for systems and dosing.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
