Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Automotive Engineering or Heavy Machinery.
- NZQF Level 4 qualification or higher or overseas equivalent.
- Hands-on experience servicing agricultural tractors or heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults across agricultural machinery.
- Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on tractors and farm equipment.
- Use diagnostics systems and specialist equipment to identify faults.
- Attend customer locations to investigate breakdowns and complete field repairs.
- Explain technical issues and repair requirements clearly to customers.
