Overview

Job Location: Lower North Island. The Field Sales Representative travels between Out of Home customers (bars, restaurants, cafes, petrol stations, hotels, offices, etc.) in the designated region and maintains and strengthens relationships with key customers. Regular travel across the region is required.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day account management and journey plan call cycle for a customer base in the designated region.
  • Attend customer sites, perform equipment checks on espresso machines, grinders, and automatic equipment across cafes, hotels, petrol stations, leisure, and health care facilities.
  • Demonstrate barista skills and share knowledge about coffee and tea; complete required training modules within call cycle commitments.
  • Drive incremental revenue and profit by identifying new opportunities and customers within the territory (may involve some overnight travel).
  • Grow customer engagement by organising and hosting training sessions.
  • Monitor operating procedures to ensure compliance across the customer base.
  • Maintain transparent communication and manage time and customer call cycles.
Qualifications
  • Coffee industry experience and/or barista experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with new people.
  • Motivation to learn and develop in sales with a passion for coffee and tea.
  • Confident and considerate in customer interactions and new situations.
  • Previous business development experience is a bonus.
  • Full clean driver’s license and willingness to be on the road most of the time.
  • Unrestricted work visa.
