Citycare Property is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of facilities, infrastructure, renewals, and capital works across Linton Military Camp, just south of Palmerston North. You will work with NZDF personnel, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects that support national security and community infrastructure.

The role emphasizes autonomy, relationship-building, and end-to-end delivery from planning to handover within a purpose-driven NZDF

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience delivering construction, property, infrastructure, facilities management, or capital works projects.
• Strong project delivery, commercial, and contract management experience.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Experience delivering projects through planning, procurement, delivery, and handover.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Commitment to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning and procurement through to delivery and handover.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Administer contracts including NZS 3910, NZS 3915, and NZS 3916.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and specialist service providers.
• Build trusted relationships with NZDF stakeholders and project partners.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
• Maintain project governance, reporting, and documentation requirements.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality project delivery.
