Job summary

MB Century is a recognised leader in providing resource services in the Hydro and Geothermal Power Station industry. We are looking to recruit an experienced Fabricator to join our team of highly skilled and experienced tradesmen.

Applicants must be time served or able to demonstrate pipe fabrication and pressure pipe welding experience, with competency in ASME IX across multiple processes. You will read drawings, follow welding procedures, and be ready to work in remote locations with extended

Qualifications

• Time served or demonstrable pipe fabrication and pressure pipe welding experience.
• Experience in cross country pipe-line and pressure vessel fabrication.
• Competency in welding to ASME IX standards in multiple processes.
• Ability to maintain written records and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.
• Prepared to work in remote locations and extended hours/shift work.
• Commitment to safe working practices and quality procedures.

• Be experienced in Cross Country pipe-line and Pressure Vessel Fabrication
• Be able to demonstrate proven competency in welding to ASME IX Standards in multiple processes
• Be able to maintain written records, interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures
• Be prepared to work in remote locations
• Be prepared to work extended hours and shift work when required
• Possess a commitment to safe working practices and quality procedures

Ideally you will also have:

• A Class 2 drivers' licence and
• Heavy machinery experience
