Job summary

Compass Group NZ is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the Forsyth Barr Stadium team in Dunedin. This permanent part-time role offers 30 guaranteed hours per week and hands-on leadership in a dynamic stadium setting.

You will supervise service, ensure food safety, manage cash handling and alcohol service, and uphold high customer service standards while maintaining sanitary, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar food and beverage supervisory role.
• Current General Manager’s Certificate for liquor service.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Good communication and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members, allocate tasks, and provide hands-on support during service.
• Deliver welcoming customer service and respond professionally to requests.
• Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation and service standards.
• Support cash handling, stock management and the responsible service of alcohol.
