Job description

Position

We are seeking a highly capable External Reporting Specialist to join a dynamic financial team. This role plays a key part in preparing external financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and a forward-thinking approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with external reporting, including preparing file notes, accounting papers, and financial statement notes in line with IFRS.
  2. Apply accounting standards and adapt to amendments as needed.
  3. Support complex reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial information.
  4. Collaborate closely with the financial accounting team to utilize prepared data for external reporting.
  5. Manage ad hoc tasks and contribute to project work as required.
  6. Ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory bodies, particularly following month-end close.
What We’re Looking For
  1. Strong process improvement mindset and the ability to ask the right questions to drive efficiency.
  2. Solid technical knowledge of IFRS and external reporting requirements.
  3. Experience handling complex reconciliations and financial statement notes.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle peak reporting periods effectively.
  5. Team player who can support ad hoc requests and project work collaboratively.
