880 Productions NZ are accepting expressions of interest from talented NZ and Australian VFX Generalists. We are a Wellington, NZ based Production company working within the virtual production space on the 4th instalment of the Avatar franchise.

Ideal candidates should have exceptional technical and artistic experience with an emphasis in real time design and photorealism.

Skills required:

• 2 or more years’ experience within the VFX, CG Animation or games industry
• Working knowledge of Maya, Motion Builder and Linux
• Unreal experience a plus
• A good understanding of VFX pipelines and workflows
• Experience with Virtual Production and Realtime workflows and methodologies
• Exceptional communication and collaborative skills

You will be joining a team working at the forefront of digital film-making with industry leaders. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and hone your skills as Avatar 4 is slated for delivery in 2029. Comprehensive training in our proprietary tools and pipeline is provided.
