South End School is seeking an experienced and skilled Y7 & 8 teacher to join our supportive team in the heart of the Wairarapa. This position is based in our Y7–8 mainstream class, beginning term 1, 2026.

We are looking for a New Zealand registered teacher who brings sound curriculum knowledge and a commitment to engaging, purposeful teaching, along with strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Preferably you will have experience teaching Y7 and 8 learners, with the ability to inspire and challenge students at this important stage of their learning. Strengths in teaching literacy and numeracy are essential, as is the ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, whānau and colleagues.
