Job description

EXPERIENCED SUPPORT WORKERS – CANTERBURY REGION

We are seeking up to 10 Support Workers

The positions offered are permanent placements within the above region.

As Community Care Trust Aotearoa operates a 24/7 service to our community, our support workers are required to work on a rotating roster, which may include nights (sleep-over or wake-over shifts) and weekend shifts, generally with two consecutive rostered days off per week.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A level 4 New Zealand Health & Wellbeing certificate (or equivalencies that have an IQA assessment from NZQA) or
  • A minimum 3 year’s relevant work experience as a support worker will be required for these positions.

Wage rates start at $26.94 to $29.10 per hour gross taxable, depending on your level of qualification.

Contracted Hours are from 32 to 40 hours per week.

Note: Guaranteed 32 hours exclusive of sleepovers.
