Job summary

Fire Security Services in Rotorua is seeking an experienced sprinkler technician to service and maintain fire sprinkler systems across our Bay of Plenty footprint. The role requires fault finding, on-site problem solving, and a clean NZ driver's license.

You'll join a committed team, with 40-hour week, 24/7 callout support, and opportunities for NZQA Level 4 training; salary is competitive with a company vehicle and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' on-tool experience as a sprinkler technician.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of NZ Sprinkler Standards (NZS 4541).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and maintain sprinkler systems on site.
• Diagnose and rectify sprinkler defects.
• Assist with minor installation and upgrades as needed.
• Provide on-site technical support and advice to customers.
• Prepare service documentation and compliance records.
• Join rostered after-hours callout when required.
