Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks such as bulk excavation, backfilling, trenching, and final trim with precision and efficiency.
  • Meticulously clean and maintain machinery and equipment to the highest standard.
  • Assist in job methodology and day to day planning.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Assist with site hazard assessments and implement control measures as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience operating an excavator – Experience with 3D GPS systems preferable.
  • Valid Class 2 driver's licence.
  • Ability to read and understand civil plans to a high level
  • Strong work ethic and highly motivated.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety
  • Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers (WTR) endorsement.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa/permit.
