You will be responsible for installing and supporting structured cabling systems across a range of commercial sites including offices, campuses, and industrial facilities. Work will be primarily based in the Manawatū region with occasional travel to other parts of New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Installing structured copper cabling systems (Cat6 / Cat6A)
- Fibre optic installation and termination
- Security and CCTV cabling
- Audio-visual and communications infrastructure
- Testing, labelling and documentation of installed systems
About you
- Proven experience installing structured cabling systems
- Ability to work independently and maintain high installation standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in ceilings, construction environments, and at heights
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Current driver's licence
- Police clearance required
- Must be able to pass a New Zealand Police vetting check due to the nature of our client sites
- CommScope or equivalent structured cabling accreditation (advantageous)
- Applicants must have the legal right to work permanently in New Zealand
