Job summary

Trade Assist is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to perform local parcel deliveries around Tauranga. The role runs Monday to Saturday, 5:00am–1:00pm, driving an automatic Class 2 truck and loading/unloading freight. You will use a tablet for deliveries and must be reliable, physically fit, with good customer service.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, weekly pay, and opportunities to progress to Class 4 or Class 5 driving with a supportive team in Tauranga.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 Licence.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Pallet Jack experience advantageous, but not essential.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive an automatic Class 2 truck for local deliveries around Tauranga.
• Load and unload freight and perform manual handling.
• Use tablet/scanning system for deliveries.
