Arataki Honey Ltd in Hawke’s Bay invites an Experienced Beekeeper to join our team. The role is seasonal with potential for permanency for the right candidate, working mainly outdoors in the Hawke’s Bay countryside.

We seek 3–5 years of beekeeping in a commercial NZ apiary, an AFB recognition course, and a passion for beekeeping aligned with Arataki Honey principles. A class 2 truck licence and forklift licence are preferred, with a strong team ethic and willingness to lift heavy loads under

• Physical heavy lifting in a variety of climatic conditions.
• Ability to use digital technology.
• Average hours are 40–45 hours with long irregular hours required in peak season.
• Some evening, night or weekend work required at times.

Arataki Honey Ltd – Havelock North, North Island

We are seeking an Experienced Beekeeper to join our Hawke’s Bay team.

The position would initially be seasonal with the possibility of this becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.

Working outside for most of the year, this position is suited to a hardworking, physically fit individual who enjoys working as part of a team.

Applicants should have a minimum of three – five years beekeeping experience in a commercial or semi-commercial beekeeping enterprise andbe able to demonstrate an understanding of how to maintain good bee health and best practice hive management.

Requirements:
