Job summary

NZ Recruit in Rolleston is seeking experienced Assemblers to join a busy manufacturing team. These are full-time roles based in Rolleston, offering 40 hours per week with Monday to Friday shifts from 6:45am to 3:15pm. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours.

Candidates with hands-on experience in assembly, manufacturing, mechanical, or related fields are encouraged to apply. The job emphasizes practical, hands-on work, with a modern Rolleston-based environment and health insurance

Experienced Assemblers - Rolleston

We are looking for experienced, mechanically minded Assemblers to join a busy manufacturing team based in Rolleston. These are full-time opportunities in a modern manufacturing environment, assembling high-quality products for export.

This role would suit someone who is practical, mechanically minded and enjoys hands-on work. Experience in assembly, manufacturing, mechanical, automotive, engineering, fabrication or a similar hands-on environment would be highly regarded.

What you’ll be doing

• Assembling components and products to specification
• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Reading and following drawings, instructions and measurements
• Understanding how components fit together and identifying any issues
• Completing quality checks to a high standard
• Working as part of a busy production team
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

What we’re looking for

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, mechanical or similar hands-on experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
• Confident using hand and power tools
