Job description

We are building a new Museum for Waitaha Canterbury – a world-class facility for the taonga (treasures) we care for and a place to tell the stories of our region and the people who live here.

We’re looking for an Exhibition Technician to join the New Visitor Experience team and play a part in our journey of redevelopment. This is a varied role where you will assist in the design, production, installation and maintenance of world-class exhibitions and displays.

You will demonstrate a wide range of skills including 3D modelling and rendering, as well as manual skills across a variety of technologies (wood, metal, plastics). You will have an interest in exhibition design, fabrication and installation, combined with a great work ethic and attention to detail, a strong team focus and the ability to meet deadlines.
