Job summary

MainPower seeks a General Manager Delivery to lead the organisation's entire delivery engine as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. You will oversee capital works, maintenance, major projects and field operations, delivering safely, on time and at the lowest sustainable cost.

This Rangiora-based role owns supply chain, stores, logistics and fleet to ensure reliable delivery. The role requires extensive experience in safety-critical infrastructure, a track record of large project delivery,

Qualifications

Experience leading delivery in safety-critical utilities, construction, or infrastructure.
Proven delivery of large, complex capital projects and commissioning assets.
Strong works planning, scheduling and resource optimisation across internal/contracted teams.
Experience leading supply chain, logistics and fleet at scale.
Commercial and contract management of major delivery contracts.

Responsibilities

Lead MainPower's delivery engine: capital, maintenance, major projects, vegetation and field works.
Own safety leadership and verification of critical-risk controls in the field.
Drive productivity and cost improvements without compromising safety or quality.
Report to the Board and committees on delivery performance and risks.
Collaborate with asset owners to align delivery with standards and costs.
