Job summary

HEB Construction in Wellington is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our civil team on regional projects that shape the local community.

You will operate excavators safely on civil sites, carry out deep excavations for foundations and services, support drainage installation and trenching, backfilling and earthworks, and help deliver projects on time, to spec, and with a strong safety focus. This is a full-time, permanent role with long-term opportunities in the Wellington region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators in heavy civil construction.
• Competency with trench shoring, trench safety, and working around live services.
• A current WTR endorsement (Class 2 or higher licence preferred)
• Commitment to health & safety and working as part of a team.
