Overview

Kick for a Cause is Waikato’s biennial charity football event, where local identities - including school Principals, athletes, and CEOs - face off in a couple of friendly football matches to raise funds and awareness for the Salvation Army.

This year’s event will feature:

• Two exhibition matches (men’s + women’s)
• Kids’ activities, raffles, spot prizes & food stalls
• A chance to rally the community around a good cause

Volunteer roles

We need a few extra hands to make the day run smoothly! Volunteer roles include:

• Running the BBQ
• Capturing photos & video
• Assisting team coaches
• Helping collect donations

If you’re keen to lend a hand, meet some great people, and make a real difference, we’d love to have you on board.

By giving just a few hours of your time, you’ll help us raise funds and awareness for the Salvation Army, while soaking up an afternoon of footy, fun, and community spirit.
