Who are we:
As custodian to some of the most iconic venues in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, we are New Zealand’s only major integrated performing arts centre, underpinned by a commercial conventions business, with a focus on presenting the best of national and international performing arts, conventions, meetings, and entertainment, as well as a range of community-focused programmes that all contribute towards a culturally rich Auckland.
Reporting to the Manager Event Services, the key purpose of this role is to plan and coordinate the delivery of staffing for our events. You will establish the Front of House event staffing requirements, implement the fortnightly roster, and communicate the roster and any changes with a wide variety of staff.
You will be the point of contact for our 200+ casual and permanent Event Service Attendants and you will actively contribute to the development and maintenance of our rostering database (HumanForce), systems, policies, and procedures.
You will be passionate about events and ideally have previous rostering experience, including the scheduling of a large number of casual employees. You will bring your strong administration skills, a high level of attention to detail as well as your strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
You will be deadline driven, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while still retaining a high level of accuracy.
This is a permanent, full time flexible position, working 40 hours, across Monday to Sunday. Our iconic venues – which include the Aotea Centre, Auckland Town Hall, The Civic, Aotea Square, Bruce Mason Centre, Queens Wharf, Viaduct Events Centre, Mt Smart Stadium, North Harbour Stadium and Western Springs Stadium – are our stage for presenting a programme of live arts and entertainment for the enjoyment and inspiration of Aucklanders and visitors to our city.
