Job summary

Waikato Hospital is hiring for a Night Belt role on a permanent, part-time basis. The position offers 17.5 hours per week, across five days at 3.5 hours per day, with a shift pattern that keeps the main daytime hours free.

You will gain valuable experience serving patient meals and beverages, washing dishes, and delivering meals to patients in a supportive hospital environment. Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and be able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• NZ residency or eligible NZ work visa is required.
• Food preparation experience and a food safety qualification are desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve patient meals on the trayline.
• Wash dishes with a commercial dishwasher.
• Deliver meals to patients.
• Make beverages for patients.
• Clean workstations after service.
