Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited in Christchurch is seeking a Deli Night Supervisor to lead our Service Deli team during evening operations. You’ll supervise, coach, and keep the deli running smoothly until close, ensuring standards stay high and displays look fresh.

The role involves hands-on prep and service, cabinet presentation, closing duties and training newer team members. Expect around 30 hours per week, with exact days discussed at interview and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deli operations at night and support the Deli Manager.
• Prepare, cook, and refresh cabinet displays.
• Maintain cabinet presentation and stock levels.
• Complete closing duties including food safety and cleaning.
• Train and support junior team members.
• Work around 30 hours per week, finishing by 8pm.
