Job summary

North Shore Kia opens its doors on 19 October 2026, and we are building our workshop team from the ground up. This is your chance to get in at the start, help shape how the workshop runs, and grow with a brand that is leading the way in electric and hybrid vehicles.

As part of the Ingham Group, you’ll be supported with training and room to grow, with a clear path to Master Technician. You will service, diagnose and repair across petrol, hybrid and EV Kia range, with a focus on doing the job

Qualifications

• NZ Level 4 Automotive Technician or international equivalent.
• Strong diagnostics and attention to detail.
• Franchise dealership experience is a plus.
• Interest in EV/hybrid technology and safety.
• Full NZ driver licence and NZ citizen/resident or valid work visa.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair Kia vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Work on petrol, hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Complete warranty work and accurate job documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to deliver great customer experiences.
