Job summary

Utility Fleet Vehicles in Mount Maunganui is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to investigate product issues and prevent their recurrence across our electric utility vehicles. You’ll review customer feedback, warranty claims, vehicle performance, testing results, and service data to identify root causes and craft practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in product/engineering/manufacturing/reliability.
• Alternatively 8+ years in a highly technical engineering role with strong judgement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret drawings and test results.

Responsibilities

• Own investigations into field issues, warranty claims, and root causes.
• Analyse customer feedback, service data, testing results for trends.
• Collaborate across Product Development, Technical & Customer Services, Supply Chain, Production and Sales.
• Develop and validate engineering solutions to improve reliability and safety.
• Drive engineering changes through the ECR process and assess impact.
