Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an automotive mechanic in Christchurch with a minimum of 1 year’s experience. The role involves inspecting and diagnosing engines, repairing and maintaining engine and chassis systems, working with clutches and transmissions, and replacing parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Having a relevant qualification as an automotive mechanic is a surplus.
• Attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond for highest quality services.
• Commitment to Health and Safety guidelines and policy of the Company and the industry.
• Strong sense of responsibility and full understanding of company value.

Responsibilities

• Inspection and diagnosis of engines.
• Repair and maintenance in both engine and chassis area.
• Work with clutch, transmission and other components.
• Part replacement of any kind when necessary.
