Job summary

Citycare Property is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Auckland-based Project Office team.

You'll develop accurate, competitive tenders for capital works across government, infrastructure and community projects, applying strong commercial judgement to win work while building robust client and supplier relationships.

We value problem solving, attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple tenders in a collaborative, Kiwi-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience estimating capital works, construction, refurbishment or infrastructure projects.
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience preparing tenders.
• Sound knowledge of contracts, estimating principles and project delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit competitive tenders for capital works projects.
• Develop accurate pricing, cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Identify project risks, opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Portfolio Managers to develop winning bids.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

Working across a diverse portfolio of capital works projects, you'll be responsible for developing accurate, competitive tenders that help secure and deliver projects for government, infrastructure and community-focused customers across New Zealand.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded estimator who enjoys problem solving, building strong industry relationships, and playing a key role in winning work.
