Danone Nutricia NZ is seeking an Equipment Operator (Processing) for our Balclutha dairy plant. You will join the Production team to process raw milk into infant formula, supporting high-quality outputs day after day.

The role requires experience operating factory machinery, strong GMP and safety focus, and the ability to work rotating shifts. Heavy lifting and long standing are involved, with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating factory machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of GMP and a strong Health & Safety/Quality focus.
• Understanding of hygiene requirements in a food manufacturing plant (High Care experience preferred).
• Attention to detail with the ability to work shifts and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing equipment to support milk-to-infant formula production.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and safety procedures in daily duties.
• Collaborate with the Production team to meet quality and output targets.
• Assist with standard operating procedures and equipment maintenance as required.

Danone Nutricia NZ is looking for aEquipment Operator (Processing)to join our team in our Dairy Factory in Balclutha. You will be part of our Production team to support the processing of raw milk into infant formula, and play a key role in delivering high-quality products, for the first time right to our consumers day after day. You will assist in achieving our business goals through your ability to be alert, follow our procedures, and be a great team player.

This vacancyisa permanent full-time job, working a rotating shift roster 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off.Please note these are physical roles that involve heavy lifting, standing in long periods and climbing stairs on a daily basis.

To be successful you will have:

• Experience operating factory machinery, preferably in the food industry – familiarity with spray-drying processes is an advantage
• Working knowledge ofGood Manufacturing Practiceand astrong Health & Safety / Quality focus
• Anunderstanding of hygiene requirementsin a food manufacturing plant (ideal if you have worked in a High Care environment)
• Strongattention to detail, ability to work shifts and be ateam player
