Job summary

Ido-Immigration Consulting Limited seeks a qualified environmental professional to ensure compliance with consents and permits while advising frontline leaders and staff in Canterbury. The role includes reviewing environmental plans, coaching best practices, and managing risks in the workplace.

You will identify unsafe conditions, report gaps, and lead investigations into incidents and accidents, contributing to a safer and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role; strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Continual improvement mindset to deliver business outcomes across environmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with issued consents and permits while advising front-line leaders and workforce.
• Review environmental plans with team leaders and provide feedback on opportunities.
• Coach workers on environmental best practice and manage workplace risk.
• Identify and report unsafe or non-compliant conditions and close gaps with stakeholders.
• Lead and support investigations of incidents and accidents.
