Job summary

Airways invites applications for an Air Traffic Controller – Area Control Surveillance (OCR/RAN) Enroute North, based in Auckland. You will deliver safe area surveillance, flight information and alerting services to customers, operating within Airways' procedures.

The role requires current Class 3 Medical, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety. The position is rostered 24/7, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Class 3 Medical certificate is required.
• Experience in air traffic control environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient Area Surveillance control, flight information and alerting services.
• Undertake rostered operational duties across OCR/RAN Enroute North sectors, including nights and weekends.
• Contribute to development of procedures, systems, and work practices and support the wider team.
